Well, Terry is down sick so the new toilet will be installed on Thursday instead of toda. Not a big deal as deals go.

Too early in the morning (8:24) for this much thunder. There's been some lightning too.

This is amazing news.
“ABC11 spoke with Lori Lober, a study participant. Initially, she was given a grim prognosis, with median survival rate of less than 2 to 3% for five years. However, the trial at Duke Health gave her new hope. She has remained disease-free for 24 years.”

I could cry.

I wondered about this the entire match. They are two of the more spicy players in the NWSL and I'm a fan of both.
We need to know what Emily Sonnett and Marta are talking about!

I still think Ann-Katrin Berger, a two-time cancer survivor, is the best goalkeeper in the world. She was fantastic in the Euros making saves like this every match for Germany. Helluva free kick from Marta. And I love Lianne Sanderson color commentary.
Ann-Katrin Berger and the save that sent Gotham FC to the final 🤯

This was a pretty good game until late. Two teams still trying to fit in a lot of new pieces. Meanwhile, Michigan blew out Notre Dame by 39. Didn't see that coming.

I hadn't hiked Howell Wetlands for 2 weeks; I was stunned at how much it changed. Most of the leaves are down. The 8 wood ducks are gone but there are 4 times as many Canada geese on the back ponds. Saw a lot of turtles considering it's Nov. Heard a beaver splash. Lots of people walking the trails.

I bought some things at Old Navy today. Paid cash, I'm waiting for change & the young man cashier holds up a coin & says to me "Is this a nickel?" I was stunned but managed to say "Yes." We had talked so I knew he's 22. Do these kids swipe plastic so much they don't know the various coins on sight?

BREAKING: At Pope Leo XIV’s urging, U.S. Catholic bishops just delivered the strongest rebuke of a sitting president in Church history — condemning Trump-Vance raids as “inhumane” and “dehumanizing” in a 216–5 vote.
NEW: At Pope Leo’s Urging, Bishops Issue Historic Rebuke of Trump’s Raids
Nearly all U.S. Catholic bishops united in Baltimore to denounce the Trump administration’s “inhumane” deportation campaign — a near-unanimous, unprecedented moral stand against a sitting president.

Everyone needs to read this. This amount of shelf stable food and frozen food would need to be stored in warehouses and cold storage facilities for easy distribution. So if it never got sent, where is it?
Records obtained by ProPublica indicate that food banks across the country were expecting more than 27 million pounds of chicken, 2 million gallons of milk, 10 million pounds of dried fruit and 60 million eggs that never arrived.

Thomas Massie to CNN on the Epstein files: "This vote is gonna be on your record for longer than Trump is gonna be president. And what are you gonna do in 2028 and 2030 when you're in a debate … and they say, 'How can we trust you? You covered up for a pedophile back in 2025.'"
