I can finally twist and bend without pain so I am back sewing! 🥰 I've missed it. Grateful that my customers have been understanding of the delay (you know who you are 💕) and I definitely made the right decision to go slow and carefully during recovery, because my healing is going super well.

Have written 4000 words including annotating pictures and video about my daughter's "deficits" and I am just. Exhausted.
(Plus another 4k of essays from family members and swimming teachers and so on. Bloody hope her school have done a better direct response than her nursery did.)

Like, the end of the first stage was "yeah seems autistic but we need more wide-ranging evidence, maybe come back in two years, case closed" and we had to do formal "pls unclose and let us submit evidence!" that we WEREN'T ALLOWED TO SUBMIT BEFORE THAT POINT

I need to share a Tiny Dragon story.
Last week on the 11th when I picked her up from school she told me on the walk home that they had all stood to do the silence "to think about the war".
And then she gave me a full list of all the children who had coughed during the silence.

I have been given an A+ in surgery recovery! Been told I still need to take things gently but I got the surgical tapes off and I'm allowed to ride my bike again.
(The surgeon gave me A Look when I asked about lifting sewing machines 😅)

My wife has explained that her shower thoughts today were assigning each Numberblock from 1 to 10 into Hives from Terra Ignota. Then she made me listen to the list.
