Lest we forget those who were forced to take part in wars that were not theirs to fight & whose names & stories for decades have been erased.Let's also work towards a 🌍 that stops making & using weapons as a way of allegedly bringing peace.

It's a week today since I lost my dear friend.Completely senseless loss of someone so young,fit & healthy.My last plea if you have a few £s to donate using the QR code to help fund maternity services for women in Pakistan, a cause close to her heart as she dedicated her life as a gynecologist. 🙏🏼💔

Utterly devastated by the sudden death of my dear friend,Aliya.A Dr in the NHS, healthy,fit,we can't make sense of it.Will miss her dearly & pray for strength for her family & our wee friend group full of memories of laughs, parties, joy spent with her. Good bye my dear friend, until we meet again 💔

Now I'm part of the @eisunion.bsky.social ULA arm of the union, I've been a busy bee putting up notices about our current ballot, asking for a #FairPay for lecturers. It's been many years since lecturers have received a decent pay rise and now is the time to make it happen. Enough waiting.
