First the anti-foreigner crowd went after hotels, and now they're going after schools, and people with a platform who refuse to call it out are guilty of appalling cowardice.
We know the kinds of conversations that would have happened in the homes of these people over the weekend that their own children will be exposed to. Schools and the education system as a whole must confront #racism and be proudly #antiracist in everything they do. It's already gone too far.
Absolutely disgraceful and reminds me of the scenes in the US when Ruby Bridges had to be accompanied to school, as the first Black child to go to an all white school and was faced by protests from white mothers - disgusting.

There's no reason for the council to agree to sit down with a mob like this, and no amount of answers that will ever satisfy them anyway. Sometimes you just need to decide that you shouldn't set public policy on whims of idiots or bigots.
