Always opt out of voluntarily surrendering your personally identifiable data. Always, every time. Your privacy is VALUABLE.
I always opt out, but I've never heard an airline say that we have that option. Gate agents from United actually told me I didn't have a choice until I pointed out CBP language that was posted immediately outside the gate. We need more people to normalize opting out to raise awareness about this.

New— An American citizen boarding flight from Boston to Lisbon just now told me after showing boarding pass, every passenger stopped on jetway by two ICE agents demanding to take their photo. When passenger asked why, ICE threatened to detain them. If they said no photo, couldn't board/TBD detained.

Chillingly, the whistleblower says that ICE trainers were directed (no paper trail?) to train all of ICE's new recruits that these administrative warrants authorize breaking into peoples' homes, even though DHS's own training materials still make clear that's illegal!

We did it! Hosted another Flock camera community discussion in my rural WA town, and the sheriff came to confirm they won’t be renewing the contract or considering them again.
This is why I believe so strongly in neighbor-run town halls, especially trying it before ex: a lawsuit or ballot measure.
