Question for my IP attorney colleagues: How would you handicap the arguments for “fair use” if someone reposted the CECOT 60 Minutes segment (in its entirety) that CBS News aborted at the last minute? Which side of the argument would you think more likely to prevail?

Same thing happened here in Michigan. We had a massive ice storm in March. Trump denied the original ask and then denied the appeal. That means Northern MI Magats will see electric rates skyrocket. When they bitch, I'll remind them that Trump abandoned them.

The citizens of Colorado pay federal taxes. If they are not receiving the same benefit, it is discrimination and taxation without representation.
They are not second class citizens or less deserving of benefits because the state is run by democrats.

I always thought when we elected a president he would do what was best for all states regardless of whether they were run by one party or the other? I have no doubt that many Republicans in Colorado voted for Trump. This partisanship is unacceptable. GOP in Congress should speak up.

Been saying hat for months. As soon as Blue states realize, there will be a massive withholding from the federal coffers. Frankly, I’m surprised it hasn’t happened already. All eyes on March 2026 for this to finally coalesce.
