The shittest thing about the bus tracker thing only working on a few buses is that I can’t know whether to keep walking for half an hour and catch the next one or if the one that was supposed to be here and allegedly departed 13 minutes ago is going to come at all.

I have a story of 546 words for #furiousfiction and it has to be cut back to 500. I'm going to have to leave it for tomorrow and a slightly less exhausted review of it. I think it can be done but it's going to be tight.

I think my writing process works though. Start the story, have no idea where it’s going and let it churn through my mind overnight then come back the next day. But I actually have to start writing it. #amwriting

A day after the RBA interest rate announcement my bank writes to tell me they are "pleased to announce" they will be passing on this rate increase in full, effective 3 days from now. I'm so glad they're pleased.

I had a great morning with the Australian Conservation Volunteers exploring the Windemere wetlands / saltlands, an event they put on for World Wetlands Day. I learned a lot about ducks too.
