I really love Andor, but it is very telling that there is no real political valence to the rebels beyond “boo tyranny.” No one in the text not even the kid writing a manifesto has a positive image of what the future should look like

Alex Pretti was an ICU nurse serving veterans. He died trying to protect protestors being assaulted. A group of anonymous & masked men fired chemicals into his face, beat him, disarmed him, and shot him in broad daylight in front of witnesses. Then his government smeared him & defended his murder.

This is pretty good evidence that just having things written down in a constitution isn’t actually the thing that secures anything. It’s a psychological commitment to a duty to the law that has been utterly gutted in our elite class
