No, but actually, BYU has a history of tortilla tossing at games and this newspaper article is an absolute gem

Whether they're blaming vaccines and Tylenol, or selling dubious "remedies," what they're really doing is promoting the perception that families (and especially mothers) can prevent and treat Autism. And thus also the perception that people with Autism and their families don't need social support.

As I told @newrepublic.com, "Once last week, twice today, ICE has picked me up and thrown me on the ground. Honestly, it doesn’t compare to what our neighbors who are trapped inside the Broadview processing facility are going through. They’re committing crimes against humanity there."
I’m a Congressional Candidate. I Was Assaulted by ICE.
An interview with Kat Abughazaleh, a 26-year-old Democratic House candidate in Illinois, who was violently thrown to the ground twice at a peaceful protest in Illinois on Friday morning.

Folks, you can't report the United States to its manager. There's no superhero coming to save us.

We don't need one giant act of heroism. We need millions of small acts of solidarity. Help one person in your community for nothing in return. Then, do it again. And again.

That's the revolution.

I trust Amanda’s insight.
I think a lot of people who are angry with me for not being willing to say the shooter was definitely a groyper are doing so because they just associate all shitty memes as groyper culture. This is incorrect! For the love of God, read this and realize more than one group exists.
I wrote for @msnbc.com about what the engravings on the shell casings of Kirk’s shooter represent and where the references originated. Given what we know so far, they suggest a young man who had his brain fried by the irony poisoned, anti-social nature of certain aspects of online culture. /1

Orem, Utah, home to Utah Valley University, proudly boasts itself as “Family City USA.”

My biggest gripe about it is its lack of walkable spaces.

BYU’s QB is named Bear and wears #47.

Bear Bachmeier.

And he runs head first into the line as hard as he can.

I hope all good things for him.

I used to say that if I ever, for whatever reason, left the Mormon church, I couldn’t believe in any other religion. I would say this because I imagined that Mormonism had more answers and made more sense than any other belief system I’d ever been exposed to.

I don’t know why it is that I get the most viscerally sick at the performative nature of Trump’s nonsense. Having a group of children sign their own executive orders surrounding him as he dismantles the DOE just absolutely abhorrent.
