Oh yeah: My Grandad's cooking was... not always bad. We trained him by complimenting his good dishes and asking for them again. But he'd spent a good few years in Africa and so had tried a few unusual dishes he tried to replicate, from memory. Such as ducks heart soup, i think cooked in palm oil...
