Yes. That would be a pretty massive ”if”. I see few signs of this being a thing. There are several other issues to be wary of. Like ”bothsides-ism” and lack of real knowledge of areas being reported on or analysed.

I really don’t get any of these arguments. Short sightedness as strategy. Think about it. Would you like to spend all on welfare instead? Or the environment? Then think about what Putin et al would think of that. Because we are next. I would like to live in a Europe where Russian is not mandatory.

It seems that there are a fair few traitors or people supporting traitors in the US nowadays. Quite a few indeed. So many in fact, that I really find it difficult to visualise how they will all be brought to justice in case of a return to non-authoritarian rule.

It will by up to the Baltics, the Nordics and the Poles. It will not be nice, and there will be no surrender. Do not make the mistake of assuming all Europeans will act in the same feeble way. We do not expect much from the rest of Europe. And we will remember.
