This weekend, USDA sent letters to states and DOJ submitted filings in court threatening states that fully funded SNAP benefits for November with penalties if the states don’t listen to USDA and “undo” the payments.
DOJ says full SNAP payments were "unauthorized," as USDA directs states to "undo" them

While a member of the Kansas House, the main legislative effort — not a bill that passed, mind you — of the man who spent his weekend ordering states to “undo” SNAP payments was a bill to put National Rifle Association gun safety courses in Kansas schools.

This is the package: - CR thru Jan 30 - A vote on a ACA bill by a December, on a DEM bill - Minibus WHICH INCLUDES reversal of shutdown RIFs and back pay and protections against them happening in the future PLUS SNAP is funded through the fiscal year 26
