Tomorrow the new blue, red & white GBR livery & brand will be launched. The new design will be displayed on digital displays at a number of major stations. The DfT says the livery will appear across already publicly owned train operators from spring 2026, with the roll-out being gradual. 📷DfT

this is making me consider my next trip to melbourne ( to ride the metro tunnel) down the princes highway. trouble is, there are no connecting local transit services past ulladulla - so it might have to be by coach (that is not even a TfNSW contracted service)

yes! ive felt like wallerawang was strange being a not-insignificant centre (at least compared to other places along this route) with a substantial extant station that trains passed without stopping
I'll pause now on the BMT. I'm keen for the Bathurst Bullet but the last train from Sydney arrives at sunset and last to Sydney departs very early.
3 stations to go, but there's a 4th coming! There's plans to re-open Wallerawang and add Opal services, using one platform for both directions.

i am so annoyed, i don’t follow hockey on my model trains alt account so i managed to avoid seeing a hockey result, but then the algorithm showed me a post from the team about the win as a suggested follow
