Famous Self-Portraits Tuesday, Feb. 10, 7 PM Self-portraits can be traced back to ancient times, though they were most prevalent in the early Renaissance. Art historian Mallory Mortillaro examines several famous artists' sel-portraits as we learn, and consider: what does an artist's self-portrait say about the time they lived in, the style they painted in, and, most importantly, how they viewed themselves?
