Reform love a good persecution narrative. Remember, they do not care about freedom of speech or liberty. They only want it for themselves, but not for you.

Great meeting tonight, good discussion about the upcoming ballot.

I hear the NEU peeps have been told to delete their Twitter (X) accounts. 👏👏👏 Perhaps if more of them arrive here, I won’t be talking to myself. Now, if they could only delete Meta products and find an alternative for that too!

On 28 February, we will launch an indicative ballot asking members if they would be prepared to strike over pay, funding and workload.

Chronic underfunding means fewer teaching assistants and larger classes.

It’s true and we are. Three more sleeps.
Adult conversation in schools usually consists of walking down corridors, grimacing at someone you vaguely recognise but cannot name, and making a comment along the lines of, “Nearly there…”

Gift giving can be simple and thoughtful.

Last week’s Budget failed to address the crisis in our schools.

Cold classrooms, leaking roofs, broken toilets. Education is running on empty.

We do not take this step lightly, but the NEU will take whatever action is necessary to save our schools.

Although the removal of the two-child benefit cap is welcome, we cannot accept the continued underfunding of our schools.

Educators believed Labour would fix the problems in our schools and colleges, not allow them to continue.

The government must change course.
