#Funguary Week 1 - Decay

Couldn't start sooner because exams, so I felt like doing a pretty self-indulgent design for a character. Pecky's is my freacky lil daughter, Tooth is lovely, I adore both to bits. They'll probably become OCs for another OC of mine, who knows.

Pecky is a a human that after a Halloween party went to the woods and ended up the host of a colony of parasitic mushrooms (that look like Bleeding Tooth) that feed on fresh blood. Luckily for her, the small alpine town she once called home seems to attrack some pretty nasty folks (and there's the slew of abusive hudsbands and parents, as a treat). Because of the time she became a host, her outfit is that of a sexy pirate - pirate hat, frilly chokert with a pendant, cropped frilly blousse that's off-the-shoulder short sleeves, thick gloves and boots, two skirts (one shorter, one longer) with an asymmetrical cut, two coin belts, and black thigh-high stockings. Her hair is palet and long, gathered at the end with a big bead, and she has two braids framing her face. She hunts with a sickle she found on the forest. Pecky and Tooth are considered The Guardians of the town, even if the both of them don't take notice of the humans that much anymore. Pecky is specially popular with the women, but she remains fully oblivious to this fact (somehow, she's quite obtuse to others' affections towards her). Tooth is a 7'2'' beast that has the hunger of a frog convined with the attitude of a golden retriever (if the golden retriever was also a bear). His body is bean-shaped, with the head being widder than the bottom half. His apendages are stalk-like, and mimic the posture of a walking gorilla. His mouth is BIG and like that of a frog, full of sharp fangs. Spore-like protutions, similar to those of the Bleeding Tooth, are scattered around the top and bottom of the head, as well as some in the back. Pecky is peppy woman that tends to go with the flow of things (think of Jake from Adventure Time), but she's a winner and a crybaby when it comes to any minor inconvenience. She's also a bit of a shy freak, her limited dating options being her only honest complain about her new life.

And with that, another year ends. I will say, despite the downs and hiccups, and hte world feeling dire at times, I'm proud of myself and my progress. Three years ago I couldn't imagine reaching this point, and even if it's slow I'm still moving. I'm still here, and that's what matters.

A big butterfly is the main part, and the patterns makes it looks like the wings are gems of many different tones of blue (or maybe the butterfly is just a gem, who knows). It's surrounded by vegetation and five yellow flowers: three are tulips, and two are orchids with veins of blue.
