i loved my ex but i *really* didn't want to get married. we tried a dozen different ways to get him in, none of them worked. and even after we got married, the process was no joke -- and we had it easy, relatively speaking. it was expensive and there was a lot of paperwork.

there's no place i'd rather be from, oh, july to october, and before that it can be really so so so fine. but when the planet tilts away from the sun... if you are a person who struggles it's good to have a plan.

real talk, friend, it's tough at this time of year. i *love* seattle, i really do, but i get the fuck out for as long as i can afford/manage with work in the dec/feb window. it's DARK.
