It's Gotcha Day! We've had a tough year. He spent four days in the hospital but bounced back, mostly; now he's starting to show some old dog things - he's grumpy, a little creaky in the joints, and hey, who isn't?
Forever grateful to whoever discarded him so he could find his way to me.

It's Gotcha Day! We've had a tough year. He spent four days in the hospital but bounced back, mostly; now he's starting to show some old dog things - he's grumpy, a little creaky in the joints, and hey, who isn't?

ran into my dog's best friend's uncle last night at an event because that's a thing that happens if you have a dog and your dog has friends who have humans who become your friends.

a friend said that my dog acts like a being disappointed to find he's been reincarnated, like he's all "ugh, not again." if you know my dog, this is ... not wrong. he is a singular being. another human who spent time with him recently said, "what an odd little character."
