Trump supporters are claiming that whistles should be “considered a violent weapon,” that their use constitutes “interference” with immigration enforcement operations or even “assault.”

In other words—the rapid response networks are working. The whistles are working.

Let no one tell you otherwise.

Of all the infuriating and terrifying things I heard on a quick news update today, this might be the most infuriating and terrifying. America, you’re in a Mustang driving right off that cliff. Law was the last guard rail. No seatbelts either. May these guys and not your people be in that car.

Floored by this story. A man wrote a pollite email to a federal prosecutor objecting to the deportation of an Afghan seeking asylum. DHS responded with an administrative warrant to get the man's info from Google, then visited his home to intimidate him.

TRUMP: You are so bad. You are the worst report. No wonder CNN has no ratings. She's a young woman. I don't think I've ever seen you smile. They should be ashamed of you.

We must keep repeating that DHS-ICE may be a law(less) enforcement agency but it's not "police" as we understand police. They don't follow police procedures. Are uninterested in following Federal, state, and local law. Are working against local officials not with them. Have no accountability.
BASH: Are they agents who were involved still on the job?

i grew up in a community full of anarchist owned cooperatives. minneapolis is full of grocery coops. (with their own political history.) we have solid voter rights and good schools with a powerful teachers union.

it really is a whole ecosystem that makes it a bit easier to see your power
