I think about Chungking Express on a weekly basis. Few movies wormed their way into my head this year quite like that one.

Sunil Malhotra deserves so much recognition for his role as Tristan in The Outer Worlds 2. Every moment he’s speaking is one of my favorite moments in the game.

ARC Raiders is killer. Between this and The Finals I’m really impressed with what Embark Studios have put out in just a few years.

Last night: my fourth Queens of the Stone Age show, this time in an old theater in Boston with a set list of deep cuts and a backing string and horn section. Dream come true.

Just saw these stills from Akira Kurosawa's High and Low and said "Good heavens" out loud.

believe it or not, there was a time on the internet where it did not feel like you were constantly getting clonked on the head with hammers. there were problems, sure. but the concussion symptoms were way, way lower, on average.

Started working through Stanley Kubrick’s filmography recently. His first two films are *rough* (the first especially) but I loved ‘The Killing’, his third outing. Really tightly produced horse racing heist story with the towering Sterling Hayden and a host of character actors.

Well that was unforgettable. Beautiful world, surprising and effective story, an *awesome* combat system. What a game. A turn-based RPG that can be wrapped up in under 30 hours, who would’ve thought. #ClairObscur

This is a review of a Normal difficulty playthrough of Death Stranding 2.I mention this specifically because I suspect a lot of players who really enj

Maddie and I have been playing Halo 3 co-op for the first time and I'm starting to think that the main appeal of these games is when the "Press [RB] to pick up" prompt appears over an image of an incomprehensible sci-fi weapon outline and you're like "ohoho now what does *this* fucking thing do"

Wrapped up Death Stranding 2 at 45ish hours and got most of the trophies I wanted. Staggeringly beautiful game, unquestionably less grating than the first. Maybe a bit too smoothed over in some areas, but a better experience overall for me.

I give it 100 Likes.
