🚩This was recently shared with us by a parent and it's deeply disturbing. It appears that this hospital has a troubling pattern in its approach to children living with complex illnesses. Also reportedly being separated from parents for extended questioning- serious ethical & safeguarding concerns.

To my fellow Canadian parents with children living with Long COVID: the Children's Long COVID Network submitted a complaint to the CBC Ombudsman. Please consider sending your own personal letters to CBC to amplify our collective voice.

Today I am here to say that the Children's Long Covid Network (CLCN) group is formed.
Long Covid in children is REAL! Thank you Dr. Danilo Buonsenso for showing that Long Covid is an organic, biological, & vascular illness in children. It's not Psychosomatic! For example, POTS is not being taught to docs in medical schools-one of a key diagnostic!

Looking forward to the #DemystifyingLongCOVID conference in Barcelona (and online) today and tomorrow. Dr. Danilo Buonsenso will be speaking on Long Covid in Children who also recently hosted the first International Pediatric LC Meeting last week in Rome.

Here in Rome to attend the first International Pediatric Long Covid meeting. Dr. Danilo Buonsenso has given power to the true essence of what an Interdisciplinary collaboration will look like on Nov 15th. A meeting that will move beyond the boundaries of individual disciplines!
