Are temperature deltas really good ways to characterise climate changes? Aren't precipitation patterns & heat extremes the most directly consequential aspects? And basins of attraction (e.g. early-to-mid Triassic) the things between which tipping is of most concern? How could they best be described?

When is the forcing going to get large enough to kick the climate into an early-to-mid Triassic basin of attraction? How are basins of attraction not larger parts of the discussion?
