Hitler was bad.

An essay that, you know, I didn’t think I’d need to write.
Perry: The pro-Hitler problem with the American right
"We need to get back to the basics: Hitler was bad. The people who suggest otherwise are also bad," David M. Perry writes.

If you wonder why all the posts about bamboo & why it matters.

@joycecontact.bsky.social is not active on bsky, but her post on other platform sums it up.

In fact Chinese gov have punished more severely on corruption like this in other cities. They should appreciate the citizens asking questions.

U.S. gangster president frees Honduras’s gangster ex-president, who was paid millions by cartel boss El Chapo and other traffickers…at Roger Stone’s behest? And also prepares to start a war against Venezuela’s gangster president who’s at most a minor drug-traffic player? Very fishy. And fascinating.

Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Hongkongers gathered at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po on Saturday to mourn the victims who died in the deadliest fire since 1948. The blaze broke out at Wang Cheong House on Wednesday afternoon and quickly engulfed six other residential blocks.

Anyone like me has an impression that Trump always makes decisions based on world affairs a hundred years ago instead of today? So I looked up what happened to Venezuela in 1920s.

A dictator & military strongman runs the nation for decades. Discovery of oil.

I did a pre-screening of a study, and had a cognitive and memory test much like the one Trump had.

There’s nothing worth bragging about the result if you are just a mere regular person.

Haven’t read this in news yet, but a friend in Hong Kong told me there are interviews reporting that not just the fire alarm didn’t ring during the Tai Po fire, the fire hose in the building was disabled as well!!

To be clear, the FBI paid nearly $1M in overtime over a FIVE DAY PERIOD last March. And yes, part of it was to find and redact Trump's name. I spoke to sources who reviewed the files for the FBI and DOJ and wrote about it here: www.muellershewrote.com/p/the-epstei...

Breaking News: Residents had warned officials of potential fire safety violations over a year before the deadly high-rise fire in Hong Kong.
Officials Had Been Warned for Over a Year Before Hong Kong Fire
Residents of Wang Fuk Court apartments had raised concerns about flammable foam panels and scaffold netting, but the government did not take decisive action.

IMHO, it’s not about heritage or tradition, this is now about the public having a outcry of contractors using subpar flammable materials and risking citizens life, but the gov has only give them a slap on the hand and this time still trying to distract from the corruption that needs addressing.
Bamboo scaffolding may seem like a weird aspect of Hong Kong identity, but it’s a point of pride and people are not paranoid for suspecting the government will use this tragedy as pretext to end the tradition and invite mainland construction companies to sweep in.
