I know a bit of psychology - mostly here for photos of dogs and sunsets!

Views are my own!
A lot of hatred towards the lifting of the two child benefit cap - largely coming from the ‘we should look after our own brigade’.

Please let me tell you, my lived experience of a child growing up in a single parent home on benefits is far from the fantasy your wet dreams lead you to believe!

Interesting…the UK political class welcomed a Brexit referendum despite the damage it has now caused.

But the same voices, don’t welcome a wealth tax because the impact it would have to us poor folk! Why not suggest a referendum and let democracy decide?

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

The working classes are always the first to sacrifice:
- our income before their wealth,
- our health before their wealth,
- our jobs before their wealth,
- our education before their wealth,
- our houses before their wealth,
- our safety before their wealth,
- our future before their wealth!

When water companies claim threats to investment caused by fines + compensation - this is akin to the avg person getting an unexpected bill and having the take from savings/get into debt to pay this off, basic maintainence of the home and body, in most parts, continues!

Ive long been of the opinion that its not in Farage’s political interest to be in power - he’s a political agitator not a solutionist!

This said, when in pwer, who will be the political scapegoats for why he wont affect the change he purports?

Possible answers: Establishment, Courts, Boats, YOU!

The BBC have yet to report on what Farage has had for breakfast today! This is an outrageous use of the TV licence fee! We demand to know what he is doing at all times!

It does not serve Farage for him to be in power! He’s an agitator and a snake oil salesman! It serves him to stay away from scrutiny and shout from the sidelines!
No we fucking don't.

As Canada + Aus turn their backs on populism - in part a rejection of Trumpism - will this also influence UK voting at local elections?

Once Trump’s biggest fanboy, Farage has quietened his connection + adoration in the past few weeks + one does wonder if this because he’s sensed the tides turned!

Shameful!

Trump’s treatment of Zelenskyy was intentional to portray him as ungrateful to the American people in order to legitimise his position to withdraw support from Ukraine. It’s a classic example of projective identification!
Jeez. This is absolutely appalling & shameful from Trump and Vance. President Zelenskyy is the democratically elected leader of a sovereign country who is bravely standing against the illegal invasion of Ukraine by a murderous ACTUAL dictator called Vladimir Putin

What stage of saving the west is this?
Liz Truss, "We are going to be establishing a new free speech media network in conjunction with our American allies, including, including the great people here at CPAC"

UK MPs receive annual salary of £91,346 + expenses.

Worker median annual wage is £29,664.

Too many MPs take second Jobs, advance the interests of their corporate paymasters.

People's welfare is secondary to self enrichment.

Must ban all second jobs for MPs.

The problem with current labour plans and the NHS. Please read.

Labour say they will use the private sector to reduce NHS waiting times (which sounds very sensible) - unless you know what is actually going on.

There is NO spare capacity in the private sector.

Another piece of journalistic perfection from William Keegan in The Observer this week. Every point he makes hits the target (always).
I wish Starmer and Reeves would listen to his wise words, but unfortunately gravitas and great experience are lost on them.

Of those completing a course of treatment of talking therapies - 43.8% of people ‘reliably recovered’ and 68.6% saw outcomes improve.

Attrition might be an issue, however, there are a range of reasons why a person may not complete a course of treatment.
The NHS talking therapies service has an attrition problem. Of 1.8 million people who sought help from NHS Talking Therapies in 2023–24, only 17% finished a course of treatment and 'reliably recovered'. #QualityWatch

It's stating the obvious i know, but the more we learn about the reality of healthcare in the US, the more we should reconnect with appreciating the NHS & the principles of the NHS.
