“Racism arises in different ways for different groups, but it’s abhorrent in all cases for the same reasons. Once we see this, we can see that our efforts to combat antisemitism should be allied to 360-degree anti-racism”

This is such a great interview with @dmf101.bsky.social in the Guardian.

A real honour to attend a Memorial Service marking the 45th anniversary of the New Cross Fire at St Andrew’s church, Brockley yesterday. A beautiful service honouring the 14 lives lost to this still unresolved tragedy, and the dignity and resilience of all those impacted by it.

Nigel Farage’s announcement that Laila Cunningham will be Reform UK’s candidate for London mayor in 2028 has triggered an immediate split on the British far right.

The decision has divided Reform’s own base and is likely to sharpen its rivalry with Ben Habib's Advance UK.

We then stuck with open-ends but changed the question a little.

Most pollsters ask about issues facing the country.

When we ask about people's day-to-day lives, the change is starkly different.

Immigration is only mentioned in a tenth of results. A majority mentioned the Cost of Living.
