UKIP will be marching in Central London on Saturday, following the ban on their hugely provocative rally in Whitechapel.

UKIP leader Nick Tenconi has announced that because of "two-tier policing" they will march from the London Oratory on Brompton Rd, to Speakers Corner...
This ban is a major victory: there is no doubt that it was the promise of a massive anti-racist and community counter-demonstration that has given the police pause for thought.

BREAKING: The Metropolitan Police have banned the provocative UKIP demonstration planned for Whitechapel on Saturday.

A statement from the Met says the event is banned from Whitechapel and anywhere else in Tower Hamlets though they are ready to discuss alternative proposals from UKIP.
The event was organised by a far-right oligarch with Kremlin connections.

Remembering the nazi massacre at Kerdyllia

On 17 October 1941 German troops arrived at the villages of Ano Kerdyllia and Kato Kerdyllia in northern Greece.

They rounded up some 230 men, forced them to dig mass graves, shot them, and reduced the villages to ashes.

Ever since it opened, racial attacks and harassment in the area soared.

The event became violent as a result of extremely aggressive actions by the police who blocked it, contained it, then attacked it.

Several hours of fighting ensued and many anti-fascists were arrested.
