I hope all of you realize that job listings saying you "must be able to stand, bend, lift, carry 50+lbs" and similar things in jobs that do not regularly require things of that nature/have options where you don't have to do those things are deliberately trying to weed out disabled people

after spending years terrified my christian extended family would never accept me being queer and trans, my mom sends me this - i guess my years in the closet didn’t hide me as much as I thought 😂😭💖

had to go out for an appointment today and i can feel a little awkward being the only one masked on the bus but then something happens like a group of ten prepubescent boys comes on the bus sniffling and any awkward feeling is turned into relief to be masked
