"Threat"?

Did that headline actually just say "threat"?

Have you seen headlines about the RefUK Threat? Or even the Labour Threat?

Fair enough, threat it is. To the stale legacy party carve-up and their profit-scraping status quo

They can stuff their 50 seats. We're aiming for 326. Go shudder.
50 seats...

Time to grow the Green Party even more.

Let's go.

Coming to a neignbourhood near you!

Your very own slop farm

In this case we just got rid of one polluting relic making profit for yesterday's capital - only to rush right there in with version 2.0, syphoning off the local water in its quest to turn all brains to mush

There are not two sides to AI stories
They don't need balance
And they certainly don't need to be catchy, folksy, glib or flash

The only lead you need to follow is the money
Right down the drain where humanity is seeping away

Do your job and stop pandering to the slop

The idea that voting in a LAB government was the answer to all our cares and concerns has clearly been proved wrong.

The same argument is now being made about:

x Selling the country to AI-slop merchants
x Cosying up to repressive fascist regimes
x Piggybanking warchests
x Waving silly wee flags
BREAKING: “The idea that leaving the EU was the answer to all our cares and concerns has clearly been proved wrong."

Keir Starmer says that "wild promises were made" about Brexit.

He adds: "The same argument is now being made about the European Convention on Human Rights"

AI must have its water. Millions can be dying of thirst outside the data center but the AI must drink its fill. Have zero doubt about this: Big Tech is more than happy to let humanity and the rest of life go without water so that it can feed its voracious AI.

s-cBBCR5L hit new low

06:30am this morning: Full-on puff-piece ad for outsourcing learning to a profit-scraping AI-slop tutoring service. 6 months ago I was aghast when a student referred to a chatmachine as "he". Now the company founders get away with not only personalising but rhapsodising them.

Piggy bank where they save up all the money they steal from us until they have enough to buy some shiny new war toys from their big-capital blood-thirsty planet-scraping donor-cronies. But if they called it the war chest it is people might be less than gruntled, hence the obfuscation.

Why the legacy university "sector" and knowledge "economy" is far from fit for purpose, reason # n+1:

Complicity

Any VC involved with such craven discussions ought to step down, and staff and students should make their dissatisfaction crystal clear.

All the leaves are gone and the trees are bare. Not my favourite time of the year by a long chalk, but the bonus is:

Spotting a troop of 4 long-tailed tits and 1 blue tit fluttering in to the little copse of a paperback birch, a Himalayan cherry and some field maples and pecking around at the bark.

a) "Once in a generation" wasn't said by the SNP and wasn't their policy - it was a campaign comment by Alex Salmond to encourage people to get out and vote.
b) Reeves comments play straight into UN case - i.e. denial of any right to decide Scotland's future.
c) She's only too aware of polling.
Rachel Reeves has been accused of showing an 'astonishing level of arrogance' after she dismissed a second independence referendum if the SNP win a majority at next year's Holyrood election
