Chinese cooking is hard to wrap my head around. Like I get it. The flavors. The techniques. But my brain just has built in efficiencies for euro American cooking methods. Autopilot stuff when to season when to layer etc. Asian cooking makes me feel like I’m new at it again. Which is fun! But slow xD

Finally used my new wok and made some lunch! It took me an embarrassingly long time to put together bc I’m not used to stir frying x3 BUT it was delicious…

See mom I can cook a vegetarian meal! Gnocchi in a mushroom and shallot cream sauce. XP Added a touch of Gorgonzola and Dijon mustard to the sauce which was reallllly tasty.
