As the storm bears down on Texas, and it's electrical grid held together with thoughts and prayers, we are going into hunkering mode. Bringing more firewood in, stocking up on beer, and protecting some outdoor things. Making chili on the woodstove this weekend.

I'm a bit confused by these calls for the 25th. Like Noem, Hegseth, Rubio, etc are going to do this. And, yeah, I guess some people think Congress can do it.
