Nationalize the means of computation
The latest Cloudflare and Amazon outages have got me thinking about utilities. We can't build modern software without dependencies. The days of running entirely on the client are over, which I see as a good thing. The cost is that we rely on infrastructure.

Yesterday; the Puerto Rican government officially banned plan Vital (the equivalent of Medicaid, for PR) from covering gender affirming care for patients of ANY age.
Instead of focusing on our unreliable power grids or cost of living, they go after the trans community.

Apparently there was an issue with payments for my apartment maintenance fees and they didn’t post the last 2 months. So just NOW I learn they’re threatening to shut off my power/water if I don’t pay $611 by 9/23.
