I started realizing over the past couple of years that for lots of folks they think poor = not being able to get whatever I want and baby that's not poor.
I had someone try to argue me down that you can make 100k and be poor.
No, you cannot. Yes you may qualify for subsidies in very high cost of living areas, yes you may struggle to balance your budget. But poor??!! It’s insulting if you are or have ever been poor.

People love to trash McDonalds but I tell ppl all the time that back when the dollar menu was really a dollar, McDonald’s kept me fed.
I relied on them dollar double cheeseburgers for dinner several nights a week bc that’s all the money I had.
