Baba Oladotun skipped a year of high school to graduate early, runs his daily training schedule & is staying home to play at Maryland next season. If it’s all happening too fast, Oladotun is too busy to think about slowing down. Having NBA dreams leaves little time to just be a kid. wapo.st/3XwtCby
His dream is to reach the NBA. That leaves little time to be a kid.
For Baba Oladotun, who skipped a year of high school to accelerate his basketball career, life revolves around a focused, “psycho” daily routine.

Baba Oladotun was the No. 1 ranked high school basketball player in 2027 before reclassifying to become a senior this season at Blake High (Md.). The versatile 6-foot-11 forward has received Kevin Durant's stamp of approval & committed to the University of Maryland last month.

In his first season at Delaware State, DeSean Jackson has secured the school's first winning season since 2012, following a 14-12 victory over Morgan State. The Hornets had 2 combined wins the last two seasons but they're now 7-3 with a legitimate shot at winning the MEAC.
DeSean Jackson knew people would be skeptical once he became head coach at Delaware State. After spending some time with the former All-Pro WR, I understand why he welcomed doubts: "You could put me in the ring with anybody, man, I’m going to come out on top." wapo.st/46NeDOJ

Carmelo Anthony is a Baltimore basketball legend. Will he be the last?
Anthony’s journey from Baltimore projects to NBA legend would be remarkable in any era. But changes to the sport in recent years have made that climb even steeper.

DeSean Jackson led Delaware State to its biggest win of the season, 35-26, over NC Central. It was Hornets' first MEAC win since 2022 & first win in Durham, NC, since 1977. DSU (5-3) is one victory from its first winning season since 2012. Up next: Michael Vick & Norfolk State.

Napheesa Collier's bold statement calling out the WNBA and its leadership shouldn't come as a surprise. She’s become one of the more powerful figures in the league for quite a while. I explored how she came to find her voice in this piece.
For this Napheesa Collier piece, I
spoke with her, her dad Gamal, Cheryl Reeve, Geno Auriemma, Seimone Augustus & others. The Minnesota Lynx MVP runner-up is not only where she's supposed to be, she's where she needs to be, at a critical time for women's hoops. wapo.st/46A6IUC
