Having worked in the meat industry for several years, it’s almost impossible to rebuild your reputation after a food borne illness kills people. Doesn’t help when the issues that caused the outbreak are systemic and repeated across other sites. We always feared listeria, rightly so.

And 10 years on the force makes one wonder what really was behind this?
