Can you imagine the Media coverage if Paul Doyle had been an immigrant?

At #PMQs just now, Labour MP Abtisam Mohamed asked Starmer for - amongst other things - the government to consider bringing water companies into public ownership. He said "yes"!

But sadly I don't think this was a Christmas policy U-turn, I think he just wasn't listening properly 🤷

£240,000 per job to temporarily safeguard 500 jobs at a firm run by the UK's 7th richest person, an ardent Brexiter worth £17 billion.

Is it really worth it when firms that don't get a penny in government support collapse with greater job losses every few weeks?

Good to see a new Government review launched on foreign £ in UK politics.

It should go further though. Last year, I launched a Parliamentary petition to ban ALL private £ in uk politics.
This would be hugely transformative. It got debated in the Commons & a review was mooted.

The richest people in the world and their 'accomplishments'

Elon Musk - His dad had an emerald mine
Mark Zuckerberg - Stole his website from his roommate
Jeff Bezos - Realized he could sell stuff from a warehouse.

Do they really deserve to be stupidly, ridiculously rich?

Let me see here... Trump is planning to launch a full-scale war against Venezuela on the same day that the Epstein files must be released according to a law passed by Congress and signed by Trump.

It is almost as if Trump will stop at nothing, including war crimes, to keep the files secret.

See you on the picket line.
