A #painting for you from the southern coast of Ireland. "Cobh V" came out of enjoying the colours and dramatic shapes of the Cork harbour town. I have an 8th Cobh painting in progress now, but it's been in progress for years and its completion isn't imminent. #art #SpeirGhorm #ArtAdventCalendar

First year selling my art at Christmas without the Other site, where most of my sales came from, as well as losing US orders to new tariffs, so it'll be a tough one - I put huge work into every order, so even if you can't buy, shares help get them in front of eyes. GRMA! www.ciaraioch.com/artprints

A *huge* vaccine victory. I've been writing on this for years; Australia has seen remarkable progress in cervical cancer prevention with the HPV vaccine. I love seeing science triumph like this.
Australia recorded ZERO cases of cervical cancer in women under 25 for the first time since they started tracking the cancer in the 80s.

This is the power of vaccines.

The HPV vaccine is extremely effective at preventing cancer.

Viruses can be oncogenic. Get your vaccines and protect yourself!
newsGP - Australia set for world-first cervical cancer elimination
Vaccination programs have played a key role, and GPs remain ‘instrumental’ in boosting screening rates to reach the 2035 target.

I met a UCC student here last night paying €2k/month for private accommodation in Cork city

I learnt students are paying gentrified prices for damp mouldy houses, not fit for purpose with landlords difficult to deal with

Time to get involved in Cork Student Housing Cooperative

Many legal scholars believe I sleep 11 months of the year, but we have been hard at work.

In March we formed the temporary North Pole Exclusions list - or NOPE.

Until further notice, you either make the nice list or NOPE.

Let’s just say I’ve seen too much polar opposite of nice list behaviors.
