Will always associate David with the canteen at breakfast time during my earliest days in RTE. I recall 'the rasp' & gravitas of his voice on Morning Ireland and the way he might look out over the glasses to acknowledge you with a nod & a silent hello. Condolences to his family.
Former RTÉ broadcaster, writer and well-known Morning Ireland presenter David Hanly has died at the age of 82.
