Do you actually think there will be a midterm election? I don’t. And yes, I know “trump cant do that”. I have heard that a THOUSAND times in the last year. And trump does it anyway. We do NOT live in a democratic society anymore. Once you put that notion away, things will become clearer.

Why do Americans always do this? It isn't "Great that Maduro is gone." That was a task for Venezuelans, or at minimum, the UN Security Council. The US has to stop validating this world police thing in any way, either the ends or the means.

Apparently Americans need to be reminded yet again that we have never suspended elections during a war. Lincoln was reelected during the Civil War (a large part of why we have absentee voting), FDR during WW2. It's never been true, and scaring folks with untrue things makes you not a good person.
