The EU's CBAM is highlighted specifically - it is expected to decrease developing country incomes $5.9bn while increasing developed countries' income by $2.5bn

In a statement earlier this week, Teresa Anderson, from ActionAid said:
“The Africa Group has good reasons to be cautious about rushing to finalise adaptation indicators. There is still no certainty that there will be money available to implement the adaptation tasks they are setting themselves."

The core of the African Group's suggestion is the lack of "means of implementation" to support the indicators going forward, i.e. developing countries need financial support to help adapt to climate change.
