Sometime after 4th ed D&D came out there was a blog post or something (maybe it was in the DMG??) that recommended ways to spread responsibility amongst those at the table. One was designating a player as the Official Rules Lawyer. Their job was providing rules clarifications & reading aloud rules.

Thinking about doing a bunch of rpg stuff on cue cards by hand... cos that's often how I work for in person games. a Ton of cue cards, like factions on cue cards and whole adventure sites on cue cards.

Kobolds are bipedal canines with patchy fur and scabs all over. They just cant resist picking their scabs! Their tearducts produce glue, which they trade to local goblins for spears and the like. The goblins then huff the glue in bags and get high.

Ill never quite get how some people take ttrpg, nearly the cheapest hobby possible, and spend a brazillion dollars on it for no reason. Not buying cool adventures but just new systems and, like, i don't even know. merchandise?
