And of course, the quality decreased significantly. This really should ring all bells, honestly. :D The only difference is that we are not rioting.

ignore my spelling mistakes, I am sick 🤧 but I wanted to point out that Luddites were, in their context, fighting for their existence and against big company owners. Those reduced the skilled workforce, employed untrained personall and paid them even less. This should sound familiar.

4/ the term was later used to descredit people who were critical about consumerism and yes, they even used that to describe the fear of technological unemplayment reducing structural employment.

but it is not someone who is against or fears technology altogether.

3/ big tech companies want to use genAi to get rid of workers, automate everything and hire low paid and "low skilled" workers who are cheaper. Some people actually claim thats what currently happening in america already. Luddites actually fought for workers rights.

2/ Please stop using the word the same as the techbros do, because Luddits were not against new technology. They were one of the first to fight back against automation and low pay. It is called "collevtive barigaining by riot". We should all be doing that because that's similiar to what happens now

Just so you know, this is about those slopthings getting copyright. it's a slap in the face, honestly. and i am very sure if that's possible big companies will use that, too. because they have the power to hire laywers en masse.

The hearing is at the heart of Silicone Valley for a reason. It's meant to damper support and make for an uneven playing field.

Let's show them we're ready to meet them wherever, whenever in support for creatives rights and livelihoods!

The witches goals on the other hand.. can't say they just want to live in peace and be their own voice or choose to not re-marry or whatever (my game is based on history). So... What should the goal be? 🫠 #gamedesign

The goal of the inquisitors are growing faith from the villagers (I have a scale like in the Star wars deck builder) and the goal is to convert all heretics to Christians and make the townhall into a church to mark the Christian dominance. #gamedesign

I have two factions - witches and inquisitors - & I was constantly asking myself: what are their actions (abilities) and how do they pay for purchasing new cards, what other resources can I use? And I found one of my problems: the goals and objectives aren't clear #gamedesign

That being said I organized all of my research in one word file and now I indulge in some fries and continue watching Andor.

I wanted to make an essay about generative Ai but I decided against it. I don't want to make myself more angry.

3/3 The fact that they did not cite any related papers on the topic of "mass participation" and "democratizing acces to information and tools" is funny. It's the same argument techbros make and I find that very icky.

2/3 "The rise of automation and AI could reflect technological advancements enabling mass participation and efficient content creation, democratizing access to information and tools that were once limited to select users. This duality underscores the complexity of DIT's implications."
