Since I don't want to be the only one getting in a bad mood first thing in the morning, just read this article. i know i'll make art no matter what, but I wanted it to be my job. or at least a huge part of my job. now I am very sure that it won't ever be part of my job, ever :)))

While working on my deck builder I realized I don't have much experience in playing deck builders at all - I can't, for the live of me, decide on what resources to choose and how to manage those. #gamedesign

The funny thing is: Ubisoft claimed the AI genereated images were placeholder and "slipped into the finished game" but I saw concept art, too. It looked like garbage, sorry.
Okay so I found out that Ubisoft used AI for Anno and Black Ops 7 is garbage, too and the Steam reviews are accordingly. Imagine the artists who could have paid for their rent and food if they got those jobs? and it would have looked way better. #gamingindustry

It's funny how much I grew as an artist this year and I really want to focus on improving my skills in this regard, too. I will need to do that on my own, because my bachelor is not focused on art, at all. In my second semester we're going to work in 3D (and Blender).

Do I want to show my art? Yes, I am always so giddy when making something. But honestly, I get discouraged so fast and I feel so ashamed when I am sad it's not getting so many likes. And after seeing AI generated stuff getting so many likes and views I am disappointed in myself 1/2

I shared too many anti-ai stuff on instagram, now my For You Feed (what do the kids call it on IG?) but now I see nothing but Ai news this and that and it makes me depressive. *blocks instagram

I was really determined to finish my game pitch and send it to my prof to get feedback and with a video of someone studying for an hour, I got to it in one and a half. Now I can cook myself dinner and watch Andor! Will be reading and doing stuff for my essay tomorrow morning.

We're working with Krita. It has very nice brushes (dunno if it's me but I can't find a good pencil brush which is texturized like those on procreate and Krita). But it's melting my brain because I could be working on other things (no offense, it's fun but I know how to draw digitally).
Thank god concept art will be online tomorrow 😭

To every ipad User: Is it normal that my battery gets sucked up so fast while using procreate? I can't draw longer than an hour or two max on battery? is it just old? (why, though. It's the iPad Air 5th generation)?

I walked over the christmas market in my city and everything is full of ai. If you wanted to know what companies and people think of you in this "charming and loving time" just look at how they treat art, design and their business in general and you know: it's about money, not you.

I recently learned that you have a core loop in games, which can be described with verbs and it's basically what a player does everytime in the game throughout the game. It's not the same as the game mechanics. You can break down every game like this.

I am working on a core loop of my board game (I have to modi, so I need to do it twice) where witches need to fight against inquisitors to do a ritual on samhain and it's based on historic facts (as far as I can use that for the mechanics) & what the hell was going on in that time 🙃
