Trump has made 16,822 times the annual income of the average American in just one year.

That's over $1.4 billion. How much has your family made since he returned to the White House?

Skylight is built on AT Protocol, the same open protocol Bluesky uses. That matters because the incentive structure is moved to the edge, not consolidated by the billionaires who own the platform.

The US is losing blue-collar jobs for the first time since early COVID or the Great Recession—the country has lost 65k jobs over the last year as manufacturing, transport, & mining employment decline, while growth in construction has nearly zeroed out

"Iron laws of the world"? Some of America's most important national accomplishments are about leading humanity away from this kind of bullshit.

If we let ideologues like Stephen Miller drag us back into a world where brute force is all that matters, all of us will be less safe.

Whenever an American tells you that riding a bus sucks and cars offer more freedom just remember they literally grew up not knowing any better. Not their fault.

As a Dutch person I grew up not knowing food could taste good with spices in it, so we all have our battles

As a reporter at a major media outlet who covers stuff like this, this is genuinely unacceptable and surprising from some outlets that should know better. I do wonder if some of it is simply because the reporters who do know what's up are off today.
This is a thread of major media outlets falsely anthropomorphising the "Grok" chatbot program and in doing so, actively and directly removing responsibility and accountability from individual people working at X who created a child pornography generator (Elon Musk, Nikita Bier etc)
