I have to admit that I got the Epstein thing completely wrong. I thought the idea of a client list was just a dumb conspiracy theory. But those emails clearly show there was more to it.

Starting this week, right up to April, everything on my YouTube channel will be about Hungary. I will start with a series of videos covering Hungarian history. First of these will be up on Friday. By March, I will then make videos on the rise of Orbán and the corruption of his regime.

That's because since the end of the Cold War many liberals have forgotten that opposition to Marxism and the communist tyranny it spawns is an important part of being a liberal.
I dont really meet many liberals who are explicitly anti communist unless they are a former neocon that voted for Kamala Harris. All the anti-communist rhetoric is swallowed by the right and that's a problem.

I hope I am not speaking out of place here, but I would argue that the number one demand for any ceasefire with Russia should be that all the kidnapped children, all the people deported to Russia, and all the POWs are returned to Ukraine.

No.
Tankies are just fascists but with a hammer and a sickle, instead of a swastika.
Equally despicable.

One of the most damaging things that morons like Chomsky have done was to take the history of communist tyranny, and proclaim:

"Actually, they were rightwing, because they did bad things. And we are the good guys, because we are leftwing."

Thoughts so deep, they could fill another mass grave.

Right. I think I might email a Holocaust historian now to put Hasan Piker in his place. He is currently telling his large audience that Kapos and Sonderkommandos were Jewish Nazis who were part of the Nazi regime...

Of all the species of Western Marxist, the British ones are the most disgusting.

They pretty much spent the entire Cold War licking blood from Soviet boots. And since the end of the cold war they lick the blood off the boots of Milosevic, Assad, Putin, and pretty much any tyrant they can find.

Oh great, 3 different teams doing one job separately with different goals. And these are the same people who complain about government inefficiency. lol.
It's actually a Witkoff/Kushner, Rubio, and Driscoll (Vance's puppet) 3-way fight. Dricoll has got his own 'high-level talks' going on with Ruzzians in Abu Dhabi.

I remember the first weeks of this war, when Russian soldiers filmed themselves raping women and posted that on social media. And now some New York City Conman expects us to go on Spanish beach holidays with these people.

Got to ask, even if Ukraine agrees to an amnesty for war criminals, what is to stop certain Ukrainians who may or may not be working for a man who never smiles at the Ukrainian security services... from tracking down and killing known war criminals inside Russia?

In any normal times, Witkoff would be forced to resign after this. But these are not normal times. Far from it. Witkoff will probably still be around to sabotage Ukraine.

Russia has desperately tried to rewrite the history of the second world war since the 2000s. From claiming Poland started the second world war, to denying the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, to claiming Jews were high ranking officials among the Nazi regime. It's important to always confront these lies.

Really wish we ran on nuclear alongside renewables.
If the world ran on nuclear energy, Australia would be the new Saudi Arabia. Not only does Australia have the largest Uranium deposits in the world. Australian Uranium deposits are larger than the next 10 countries with the largest Uranium deposits in the world COMBINED.
We have the same problem in Australia; massive abundance in materials (especially lithium) but past getting it out of the ground we donno value adding. Anybody can mine; very few can refine into useful products that are then sold. China played it's cards well

This is a good thread that describes the trend of ascribing the tyranny of nature to capitalism. That subsistence requires effort (and comfort increasingly more so) is a consequence of reality, not of a particular economic system. Systems change the distribution and generation, not the rule.
Bluntly: you don't want socialism, you want robots doing the work so you can have more time for what we can broadly call "leisure."

There is nothing wrong per se with this desire, but intellectual honesty requires we admit that as it stands socialism will probably involve the same "get up at 7 am."
