It’s almost 2yrs since the day Commissioner Catherine Holmes handed down her final report on Robodebt & referred those responsible for criminal prosecution. It was a day we felt like finally something was happening.
I’m so sorry to all victims who are STILL waiting for justice.

If one is censured by a nation's Parliament for behaviour officially found to be "corrosive of trust in government", and is referred to an anti-corruption commission for misleading its Cabinet about the "crude and cruel" Robodebt scheme, how is one then eligible for said country's highest honour?

Just reposting this which I think is the most gorgeous thing I have seen in my career - a critically endangered orange-bellied parrot feeding on a carpet of daisies after an ecological burn. This was the first time they’d had the chance to feed naturally in 15y and was wonderful to witness

Why is Dutton all about the blokes? Because everytime the Liberal party tries to soften his image, his vote goes down. The men who support him only like the hard guy costume and women don’t like pretend multifaceted guy. Dutton created his own monster and now he’s stuck

This election campaign is pretty depressing in terms of the vision being presented for our country. But Dutton rolling out his 20-year-old son to ppl to pretend that he, Dutton the Dad, ‘gets’ how hard it is for parents watching their kids struggle - WHEN HE’S A MULTIMILLIONAIRE is so gross

Image emerges of Jacinta Price wearing Maga cap – one day after she says Coalition will ‘make Australia great again’

The Nationals leader, David Littleproud, called it a “slip of the tongue” when Price, the shadow minister for government efficiency and Indigenous Australians, told a campaign rally she wanted to “make Australia great again” on Saturday. The senator later claimed she hadn’t “even realised” she made the comments, then accused the media of being “obsessed” with the US president. House prices are rising faster than people can save.

If you earn the average male full time income (more than 80% of people) and started saving 10 years ago, you'd be no closer to buying a house today.

It's past time to fix this. @grogsgamut.bsky.social explains. #auspol
