Looking out my window, I saw the park was clear of dogs and tried to go for a walk. As I reached the grass, a young and lively boxer emerged from the water and came racing towards me. My heart stopped. I asked its owner to leash it. He told me to go to hell. I came back inside 😢

7-10% of humans are terrified of dogs. It's called cynophobia.

Beare Park, right below my windows and now a 24/7 dog park, is off-limits for that 10% of local residents.
