I found out about it in high school when someone smugly told me they’d thrifted a maiden vinyl and did this to it. GotDAMN i was so mad, but all things are transient or whatever. I’ve got my own maiden vinyl now fuck ‘em.

I know I’m a one trick pony about this, but what if there was an instrument that had all the sonic range of a guitar, but with much more comfortably sized bass strings.
