Asked longtime B.C. Liberal MLA and former Mountie Mike Morris of Prince George about this tweet today. He said: “Here we have a very fresh, sensitive, tragic situation that’s getting the attention of the world and we have a politician that is trying to use this to further their own arguments.”
Within hours, we already had an elected official—B.C. MLA Tara Armstrong—blaming the Tumbler Ridge school shooting on gender-affirming care.

Removing the spit designed to protect the port area of Squamish had… predictable effects on the safety of the port? You don’t say… Would love to see an analysis of potential regulatory gaps that led to this. *facepalm*

In cities like Montréal, bikeshare is fully owned and subsidized by the local government, while in other cities like Seattle, it’s operated by private startups like Lime and Bird that pay significant fees to the city.

Interested to see how this turns out. At a high level on in favour of rethinking regulatory processes especially if efficiencies can be found. I know the same type of review by professionals under the PGA (of which I am one) is being considered by the provincial government.
