Think about how basically every TTPRPG group has more robust systems in place for dealing with bad actors, than the US government.

In most parliamentary governments, failure to agree on a budget instantly starts this "nope, fuck you, roll a different character" process.

The game stops, and everyone trying to fuck up the game for everyone else gets threatened with being voted out for someone who *is* willing to cooperate.

The DM *has* to be willing to say such as "oh no, a chasm opens up underneath your character and they slowly drown in raw sewage. Roll another one who *is* willing to actually play the fucking game."

Or else the whole thing is gonna become an excruciating, hellish ordeal for everyone else.

Seeing these in reverse order after seeing the stretch goal passed is great

the only benefit at folding like this is to protect the 10 losers who were gonna flip by spreading their failure amongst the entire party. They will always protect each other instead of even pretending to help you.
