If I see AI art I'm blocking on sight. I'm tired of trying to explain the moral issues, much less the damage it does to the environment.

One thing I really get bored with in pop-science is the obsession with "woaaah are imaginary numbers real or not??" cause like
NUMBERS aren't real. Stuff that shares the properties of various mathematical constructs is. Some stuff's behavior can be represented nicely with complex numbers. Done.

If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?
